Deep Green combines a proven underground irrigation system with modern sensing and control technology to create healthier, easier-to-maintain lawns that use significantly less water. Based in Bend, this innovative startup is helping redefine what sustainable landscaping can look like—delivering beautiful outdoor spaces, smarter water use, and a future homeowners can feel good about. Rover developed the new brand identity, created motion graphics to explain how the system works, and launched a new website on Squarespace.

We’ve worked with Deep Green from the very beginning, helping shape the brand from the ground up. Alongside the logo, we developed a custom topographic mapping system that blends circular signal patterns with terrain lines—creating a distinctive visual language that reflects how the Landscape IQ system intelligently communicates when the lawn needs water.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with both Patrick and Gabe on this project. I came with a very vague idea of what I was looking for, and they were able to help me create a brand identity that aligns extremely well with our company. They accommodated my tight timeline, and were willing to go back and forth on multiple iterations to ensure the product I received was something I was truly happy with. I have very little experience building websites, and they were able to help me distill my ideas into content that was visually appealing, and flowed well on a page.
